Ab.Acus is a company whose mission is to design and develop technologically advanced products and services. The exploration of the person-object-person interactions in all its inflections and applications is one of the main goal of our developments. The achievement of these objectives builds on cooperation in international projects with leading partners throughout Europe. In this perspective, we are involved in five new granted projects started in 2015, coordinating one of them in the robotic line.
The Neuroengineering and Medical Robotics Laboratory is part of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano, which is one of the biggest Engineering and Architecture University in Italy, with about 26000 bachelor and master students and 900 PhD students. The main research interests of the Neuroengineering Section of the NearLab are focused on the design and validation of neuroprosthesis and robots for rehabilitation, bioartificial interfaces, and motor control modelling.

VALDUCE division of Recovery and Rehabilitation Medicine, Villa Beretta, is a reference Centre in the field of rehabilitation, gait analysis, robotics applied to rehabilitation and telemedicine and tele-rehabilitation in Italy. The target of the Centre is the person with some kind of neuro-motor disease or disability. Using leading edge technology from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up, the Centre offers the possibility to recover as high ADL autonomy as possible depending on entrance conditions of the patients.
The Asklepios Neurologische Klinik Falkenstein is a hospital for neurology and neurological rehabilitation, situated in Konigstein, close to Frankfurt/M. The hospital has 155 beds, the main clinical focus is stroke rehabilitation from early rehabilitation (phase B) to ambulatory rehabilitation. Beside the use of classical rehabilitation methods, emphasis lies on the application of innovative treatments like robotic-assisted rehabilitation. The Asklepios Neurologische Klinik Falkenstein belongs tot he Asklepios group, which operates about 150 health facilities in Germany.
